The official trailer of Bollywood film Baaghi 2 has been released on Wednesday. The film, a sequel to the 2016 hit film Baaghi, stars Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani as the main leads. Directed by the choreographer-turned-director Ahmed Khan, Baaghi 2 has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his home banner Nadaidwala Grandson Entertainment. Baaghi 2 is also the official remake of the 2016 Telugu crime thriller Kshanam.

While the action packed trailer of Baaghi 2 has been received well among the Bollywood film audience, it turned out to be a major disappointed for Telugu film lovers.

According to Telugu audience, the soul and suspense in Kshanam has clearly been sidelined to give more space for Tiger Shroff's heroic-action sequences. in Baaghi 2 trailer. Tiger Shroff has been featured as a one-man army in Baaghi 2 trailer unlike Adivi Sesh's role from Kshanam, a failed lover, who was desperate to help his ex-girl friend to find her kidnapped daughter.

More than the remake of Kshanam, Baaghi 2 appears to be the Indian version of Rambo. If the makers intended to make an out and out action-entertainer, why not remake a Hollywood film instead of killing the soul of a critically acclaimed suspense thriller?, a Telugu film lover said.

Not many are aware of the fact that even Baaghi, which featured Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles was a remake of Prabhas' Telugu film Varsham.

Baaghi 2 also stars Prateik Babbar, Armaan Kohli and Vijay Raaz.
