It's widely known that Skiptrace, which stars Asia's biggest superstar Jackie Chan, has become a huge blockbuster at the Chinese Box Office. Touted as an action adventure, Skiptrace also stars Hollywood actor Johnny Knoxville, Chinese actress Fan Bingbing and Taiwanese actor Winston Chao in important roles. Winston Chao enacts the main antagonist in the film.

However, what not many know is that Chao is the same actor who essayed the villain's character in Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's recent hit, Kabali. In the PA Ranjith directorial, the Taiwanese actor was seen as the deadly 43-gang leader, Tony Lee, opposite the Thalaivar of Indian cinema.

Meanwhile, PA Ranjith has announced his upcoming film once again with his Kabali hero, Rajinikanth. The film will be produced by Rajinikanth's son-in-law and actor-turned-producer Dhanush, under his home banner Wunderbar films. The shooting of the un-titled film is expected to begin after the release of Rajinikanth's 2017 release, Shankar's Enthiran 2.
