​​Santheyalli Nintha Kabira trailer​: Shiva Rajkumar as Kabir Das will win you over

After the super success of Killing Veerappan and Shivalinga, Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar is ready with Santheyalli Nintha Kabira, his third release of the year. The trailer of the much-awaited biopic drama has been released and was met with a terrific response already.

The film marks the Kannada debut of Malayalam actress Sanusha Santhosh and the plot revolves around the life of the mystic 15th Century poet, Kabir Das. From the trailer, Santheyalli Nintha Kabira looks like an an out and out Shiva Rajkumar film as the actor seems tailor-made for the poet's role. The video also features Tamil actor Sarath Kumar as Sikandar Lodi. Veteran Bollywood actor Om Puri is essaying the role of Shiva Rajkumar's father.

Another highlight of the trailer is the excellent background score from Hindi musical maestro Ismail Darbar. The Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam composer has reportedly composed five songs and six poems for the film. Gopala Vajpayee has written the lyrics for all the songs. Directed by Indra Babu and produced by Kumaraswamy Pathikonda, Santheyalli Nintha Kabira is slated to hit the screens this month.
