Vivegam : Mohanlal's Pulimurugan makers to release Thala Ajith starrer in Kerala
Tamil actor Thala Ajith's upcoming thriller Vivegam is slated to be released soon. Directed by Siva and produced by TG Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films, Vivegam is the third collaboration of Ajith – Siva duo after Veeram and Vedalam. The film stars Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead.
While the film is nearly two months away for its theatrical release, the makers have sold the Kerala distribution rights.
On Tuesday, it has been revealed that Mulakkupadam Films, the makers of the 2016 Mohanlal blockbuster Pulimurugan have bought the Kerala theatrical rights of the Thala starrer for Rs. 4.25 crore. And with that kind of deal, Vivegam might be one of the biggest Thala release in Kerala.
Vivegam will be the Tamil debut of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi and Kamal Haasan's daughter Akshara Haasan. Vivek will be seen playing the villain, while Akshara Haasan essays Ajith's colleague in the film.
Vivegam is slated to hit the screens on August this year.
