Villain: Mohanlal, B Unnikrishnan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan maker's film to release on October 27

The much awaited Mohanlal starrer Villain finally gets a release date. Directed By B Unni Krishnan and produced by Rockline Venkatesh, the maker of Salman Khan hit Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the film stars the Malayalam actor in the titular role of a retired cop, Mathew Manjooran. Villain stars Manju Warrier in the female lead and also marks the Malayalam debut of Tamil actors Vishal, Hansika Motwani and Telugu stars Srikanth and Raashi Khanna of Madras Cafe fame.

Earlier, there were reports that the Mohanlal starrer is scheduled to release on October.

And now, the latest report suggests Villain is all set for a huge release on October 27.

The makers are leaving no stone unturned to make Villain as the biggest Malayalam release ever in Kerala. The Lelttan film is scheduled to release in a record number of 250 plus screens across the Kerala. Apart from Baahubali 2 and Thala Ajith's Vivegam, none of the films have managed to bag 250 plus screens in Kerala.

The music and the BG score of Villain has been composed by 4 Music, a music band of four composers Jim, Biby, Eldhose, and Justine of the 2016 Mohanlal's hit Oppam fame.

Villain will be the fifth collaboration of Mohanlal and Manju Warrier after Aaram Thampuran, Kanmadham, Summer In Bethlahem and Ennum Eppozhum. The film will also see film producer Antony Perumbavoor in a cameo role of a police officer.
