Reportedly, R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi's recent Tamil suspense thriller, Vikram Vedha is to be remade in Telugu soon. The Tamil film, which had released in July 21 has already emerged as a good success at the Tamil Nadu box office. Directed by husband-wife duo Pushkar-Gayatri, Vikram Vedha featured Madhavan as an encounter specialist and Vijay Sethupathi in the role of a gangster.
The Telugu version of the film will feature Venkatesh with nephew, Rana Daggubati. I
“Talks have been initiated with Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh for Telugu remake. They were the first choice even before the release of Vikram Vedha. However, nothing has been finalised yet and the process might take a few more months,” a source from the film’s unit said.
