Vijay Sethupathi to star in Muttiah Muralitharan's biopic produced by Rana Daggubati
It is official that Tamil actor Vijay Sethupati is starring in Srilankan cricketer and legend spinner Muttiah Muralitharan. The film will start rolling from end of 2019, the Tamil star himself confirmed the news. The film will be directed by Sripathy Rangasamy and made under the banner of DAR Motion Pictures.
Reports are that actor Rana Dagubati is collaborating with the production house to produce the film. However, the makers are not keen to spread more details about the film and they are keeping it under the wrap. The title of the film is being told 800, to indicate the numbers of international Test wickets taken by the spin bowler.

The film will start rolling from 2020 early and slated to hit the screens at the end of the year. Muralitharan has a tragedic story and also an inspiring one also.
