Vijay 62: Special announcement from the makers of Thalapathy Vijay, AR Murugadoss film on New Year day ?

It's known that Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay and hit director AR Murugadoss have teamed up for the third time after the blockbuster success of Thuppakki and Kaththi. The film, tentatively titled Vijay 62 (62nd film of Vijay), will be jointly bankrolled by Sun Pictures and Lyca Productions.

Earlier, the makers had revealed that the remaining cast and crew of Vijay 62 will be announced only in 2018.

And now, if reports are to be believed, the makers have planned a special announcement on January 1 as a New Year gift to the fans of Thalapathy Vijay fans.

Reportedly, the names of the remaining cast and technicians will be announced on January 1. The makers are said to be bringing some of the top names in the industry on board for the film, which will be announced on the New Year day. Also, there are strong reports that Vijay will be seen in yet another social awareness role in the film similar to his recent blockbuster Mersal.
