Vijay 61 : Ilayathalapathy, Atlee film to go on floors in February 2017

After the blockbuster success of Theri, Tamil superstar Ilayathalapathy Vijay and director Atlee are all set to team up for a new film, tentatively titled Vijay 61. The film, touted to be an action thriller is bankrolled by Thenandal Films.

The Raja Rani director is currently working on the final process of the script is expected to complete the same by the end of the year. On Monday evening, the makers had revealed that the film will start rolling in February 2017. The makers are in talks with Nayanthara to essay the female lead of the film.

Meanwhile, the most-awaited Vijay film, Bairavaa is slated to be released on the auspicious occasion of Pongal 2017. The film, written and directed by Bharathan, is touted to be an action-family entertainer. Bairavaa stars Keerthy Suresh - of Rajini Murugan fame - as well as Jagapati Babu, Aparna Vinod, YG Mahendraa and Daniel Balaji.
