Veteran film director and father of Tamil superstar Ilayathalapathy Vijay, SA Chandrasekhar hospitalized

Veteran film director and father of Tamil superstar Ilayathalapathy Vijay, SA Chandrasekhar met with an unexpected accident on Wednesday morning in a resort at Kumarakom, Kottayam, Kerala when he slipped in the bathroom and fell badly. The 71 year old director received injuries on head, neck and spinal cord in the accident and was rushed to a nearby private hospital near Kottayam. The unfortunate incident was occurred around 9 am today.

According to our close source from Kerala, the hospital authorities confirmed that the injury was not serious and he is now out of danger. He has been advice to take complete rest for the next 4 days. Fondly known as SAC, he was at Kumarakom in relation to the discussion of a new film project.

Earlier, there were reports that Vijay and his family will reach Kumarakom to meet his father, but later their Kerala trip was cancelled after SAC assured him that he is now completely feeling better.
