USA Box Office: Jr.NTR emerges as the first South Indian actor to set this unique record

Jr.NTR's recent release Jai Lava Kush is doing fabulous business at the Box Office worldwide. The action-entertainer, which was released on September 19 has already crossed the coveted Rs 100 crore mark at the Box Office.

Similar to its India collections, Jai Lava Kush is rock steady in US markets as well. Jai Lava Kush was unaffected by the release of Mahesh Babu - AR Murugadoss film SPYder as the film went on to rake in $1.5 million in 11 theatrical days at the USA Box Office. And with these collections, Jr.NTR emerged as the first South Indian actor to have hat-trick of $1.5 million grossers at the USA Box Office. The Telugu superstar's previous films, Janatha Garage and Nannaku Prematho, grossed over $1.8 million and $2 million respectively at the USA Box Office.

Directed by Bobby, Jai Lava Kusa starred Jr.NTR in triple roles as Jai, Lava Kumar and Kusa. The film also starred Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas.
