UAE Box Office - Thor: Ragnarok is the No. 1 film of the week followed by Mohanlal's family thriller Villain

Last Thursday saw the release of three major films at the UAE Box Office. Hollywood film Thor: Ragnarok, Malayalam film Mohanlal starrer Villain and Akshaye Khanna, Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha starrer Ittefaq.

And as expected, Thor: Ragnarok has opened to a good start at the cinemas across the UAE - GCC countries. On its opening weekend, the super hero film based on Marvel comic character Thor has debut at No. 1 position at the UAE Box Office. Thor: Ragnarok has reportedly 100,000 admissions on its opening weekend at the UAE Box Office.

Mohanlal's family thriller Villain too set the UAE Box Office on fire by clocking the second spot across the cinemas of UAE. On its opening day in UAE, the B Unnikrishnan directorial was released in 80 locations to become the third biggest Malayalam release at the UAE Box Office.

Bollywood film Ittefaq debuted at third position at the UAE Box Office. The Shah Rukh Khan - Karan Johar's joint production venture managed to have 11,000 admissions on its opening weekend in UAE.
