UAE Box Office: Mohanlal’s action thriller Villain to be released on this date

UAE fans of Mohanlal have a reason to rejoice as the actor's upcoming film Villain is set to hit the screens soon. The action thriller, which is scheduled to have an all India release on October 27, will hit the cinemas across the UAE on November 2. Generally, Malayalam films take four weeks to one month time for its overseas release, but in the case of the Mohanlal starrer, the film is releasing one week post its India theatrical release.

Popular UAE distribution company, Phars Films who bought the distribution rights took to their Facebook page to reveal the update.

Directed by B Unnikrishnan, Villain marks the Malayalam debut of Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan maker, Rockline Venkatesh. Mohanlal portrays the role of a retired cop, Mathew Manjooran in the film. The film stars an ensemble star cast including Manju Warrier, Renji Panicker, Tamil actors Vishal, Hansika Motwani and Telugu actors Raashi Khanna and Srikanth.
