Tollywood: Marathi actor Sachin Khedekar joins Mohanlal-Jr NTR 's Janatha Garage

Seems like Janatha Garage director Koratala Siva is on a spree to cast acting power houses. It's widely known that the makers have roped in Malayalam superstar Mohanlal to play one of the leads in the multi-starrer film.

Janatha Garage features a formidable star cast including Telugu superstar Jr NTR, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Nithya Menen, Sai Kumar, and Devayani. The film also marks the Tollywood debut of Unni Mukundan, the youth icon of Malayalam cinema.

And now, Marathi actor Sachin Khedekar has joined the cast of Janatha Garage. The veteran actor will reportedly portray the role of the main antagonist in the film. The Srimanthudu director was looking for a seasoned actor and approached Sachin Khedekar to essay the negative role. The popular Marathi actor was impressed with his character and reportedly agreed to do the film.

The movie is written and directed by Koratala Siva and jointly produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, and C V Mohan under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. Janatha Garage is slated to hit the screens on 12 August 2016.
