The first Telugu release of the month, the Trivikram Srinivas directorial A Aa has hit the screens today, 2 June. The film stars Nithiin and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles and also marks the Tollywood debut of Malayalam actress Anupama Parameshwaran, who made waves with the blockbuster Premam.
The makers of the film have reason to rejoice as advance bookings have witnessed a positive start. Early reports suggest that A Aa's advance booking in major cities of Telangana ranged from decent to very good till now, with a few shows for Friday already sold out in most multiplexes and A centers of Hyderabad.
A Aa is releasing on more than 200 screens all over India and around 130 screens overseas. It will be interesting to see how the film performs on the opening week as apart from Allu Arjun's Sarrainodu, none of the summer releases managed to make it big at the Tollywood Box Office.
Both summer releases of superstars - Pawan Kalyan-starrer Sardar Gabbar Singh 2 and Mahesh Babu-starrer Brahmotsavam - flopped badly at the ticket windows.
The trailer of A Aa has been well-received. Touted as a complete family entertainer with romance, dance, songs, revenge and emotions, A Aa is produced by Suryadevara Radhakrishna under the banner of Haarika and Hassine creations.
