Kerala Box Office will see one of the interesting clash this coming weekend. Mammootty starrer The Great Father hit the screens on Thursday while Bollywood film Naam Shabana is slated to release on Friday. Interestingly, both the films have Malayalam actor Prithviraj's involvement, one as the producer and the other as him playing a grey character.

Directed by Haneef Mohammed, The Great Father is produced by Prithviraj along with Santhosh Shivan, Tamil actor Arya and film producer Shaji Nadeshan under their banner August Cinemas. The advance booking for The Great Father has been good so far and is expected to have a good opening at the Kerala box office. Along with Mohanlal, The Great Father also stars Arya, Miya, and Baby Anikha.

The next day after the release of The Great Father will see Bollywood film Naam Shabana at the Kerala Box Office. The film stars, Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. Generally Hindi films with female protagonist doesn't really do well at the Kerala box office, but this time things might be different as Naam Shabana stars Prithviraj as the main antagonist.

The makers of Prithviraj's previous hit film, Ezra, Mukesh R Mehta and C.V. Sarathi are releasing the film in Kerala. Directed by Shivam Nair and produced by Neeraj Pandey, Naam Shabana also stars Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher and Manoj Bajpayee.
