The teaser of digitally remastered version of Rajinikanth's cult classic, Baashha is out. The film is considered as one of the landmark films in Rajinikanth's career. The action entertainer shows Thalaivar in two different avatars; a simple auto-rickshaw driver, Manikkam, who later becomes a gangster called Manik Baashha.

The one-minute and nineteen-second long teaser was unveiled by Sathya Movies Productions on the occasion of completing golden jubilee in Tamil film industry. Baashha is digitally remastered with 5.1 Surround Sound.

Upon its release, the Suresh Krrisna-directorial impressed both the Box Office and the critics and went on to become one of the biggest hits of 1995. Besides Rajinikanth's performance, the film also won acclaim for Deva's music - which gave us chartbusters like Naan Autokaaran, Style Style Thaan and Azhagu Azhagu.

Baashha minted a huge Rs 25 crore, which was an unbelievable feat at the Box Office in early 90's. An announcement on the re-release date is expected to be out soon.
