Taramani : Ram, Andrea Jeremiah film is only for adults, bags A certificate from CBFC
Tamil film director Ram's upcoming film Taramani is slated to release soon. Jointly produced by Dr. L. Gopinath, and J. Satishkumar along with Ram, the film stars Andrea Jeremiah and debutante Vasanth Ravi in main leads. Taramani narrates the love stories and insecurities of two IT employees played by Andrea and Vasanth. The film also stars Azhagam Perumal and Anjali.
The film bagged an adult certificate from the Censor Board. Director Ram explains the reason why it must have been put under Adults only category. He says,
"Initially the Censor Board was ready to provide a U/A certificate for Taramani if the 14 cuts suggested by them were implemented. But our joint producer J.S.Sathish Kumar of JSK Films Corporation refused to go for the cuts as he said it will dilute the content of the film. And yes, Taramani is strictly for adults, so we went for A certificate".
The music of Taramani has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film will release on August 11.
