Tamil Nadu box office : SS Rajamouli​'s Baahubali 2​ emerges ​second Rs. 100 crore blockbuster after Rajinikanth's Enthiran

SS Rajamouli's Baahubali : The Conclusion has continued its strong dominance even on its third weekend. The war-drama, a sequel to the 2015 blockbuster Baahubali : The Beginning was released simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages on April 28.

Catch had earlier reported that the Hindi dubbed version of Baahubali 2 had earned Rs. 400 crore to emerge the highest Bollywood grosser.

And now, the Tamil dubbed version of Baahubali 2 has emerged as the second Tamil film to cross the coveted Rs. 100 crore mark at Tamil Nadu box office.

Interestingly, Baahubali 2 took just 16 theatrical days to set this record in Tamil Nadu. Rajinikanth’s 2010 blockbuster Enthiran was the first film to gross over Rs 100 crore in Tamil Nadu. After a 7-long-years-gap SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 has repeated the feat.
