Suriya's Thaanaa Serndha Kootam crosses the Kerala lifetime collections of Thala Ajith's Vivegam on its opening weekend
Tamil actor Suriya's Thaanaa Serndha Kootam has successfully completed it's opening weekend at the Kerala Box Office. The film, which had released in more than 200 screens across the state has taken a good opening by minting nearly Rs. 2 crore on its opening day.
Directed by Vignesh Shivan and produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green banner, Thaanaa Serndha Kootam is the Tamil remake of Akshay Kumar - Neeraj Pandey's heist crime thriller Special 26.
On its opening weekend, Thaanaa Serndha Kootam has reportedly minted Rs. 5.50 crore at the Kerala Box Office, which is good considering that the Suriya starrer had clashed with two major films including Malayalam film Queen and Tamil film Sketch featuring superstar Vikram. Thaanaa Serndha Kootam also crossed the Kerala lifetime collections of Thala Ajith's Vivegam in 3 theatrical days and is all set to become Suriya's highest grosser in Kerala.
Thaanaa Serndha Koottam also starred Keerthy Suresh, Ramya Krishnan, Karthik and Senthil.
