Srinivas Avasarala​, Regina Cassandra team up for Telugu remake of Hunterrr

Remaking Telugu hits is not new in Bollywood. From Wanted, Rowdy Rathore to Son Of Sardaar, most of the Bollywood Rs 100 crore plus hits have been the remakes of Telugu hits.

Interestingly, for a change, a Bollywood film is going to be remade in Telugu. Reportedly, the Telugu remake of 2015 Bollywood adult-comedy hit, Hunterrr is slated to be launched soon. The film marks the directorial debut of Naveen. The film will have actor-turned-director Srinivas Avasarala will be reprising Gulshan Devaiah's role, who portrayed the role of unassuming sex-addict brilliantly in Hunterrr. Regina Cassandra has been finalised as the leading lady of the film. The Shiva Manasulo Shruti actress will play Radhika Apte's role in the film.

The original version was written-directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni. Hunterrr also starred Sai Tamhankar, Rachel D'Souza and Haanssa Singh.
