Mahesh Babu's Tamil-Telugu bilingual film SPYder has crossed the coveted Rs 150 crore mark at the Box Office worldwide. The film, which had released on 28 September to mixed reviews, has grossed the said amount in less than 12 theatrical days at the Box Office.

However, the fact can't be denied that SPYder has crashed completely on its second weekend at the Box Office, especially in Telugu speaking states. The distributors who bought the film for record fancy prizes depending on Mahesh Babu, Murugadoss combination are in trouble as the film is all set to loose more than 40% of their investment. Though the film is still running in cinemas across worldwide, the negative word of mouth publicity has worked against the film to a large extend.

SPYder also marked the Tamil debut of Mahesh Babu and Telugu debut of SJ Suryah. The sci-fi thriller starred Rakul Preet Singh in the female lead role.
