Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman feels the upcoming biopic on Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar will be one of the most awaited movies of the year.
Directed by James Erskine, Sachin: A Billion Dreams is based on the real life of Sachin Tendulkar. The biographical drama stars master blaster Sachin himself and will showcase his entire career including some unknown facts which have never been heard before.
AR Rahman stated that his music will reflect Sachin's journey from childhood to the cricketing legend he went on to become, in the film.
"The music will reflect Tendulkar's childhood days till the moment he became a legend. I'm excited for it. Sachin: A Billion Dreams is one of the most-awaited films of the year. Millions of fans all over the world are looking forward to it. Whatever I have seen so far, the film has turned out to be really beautiful," he said.
AR Rahman is also composing music for Ashutosh Gowariker's upcoming film, Mohenjo Daro, starring Hrithik Roshan and debutant Pooja Hegde.
