Robot 2.0: Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth to shoot for next schedule from 18 July

Good news for Rajinikanth fans!

The Thalaiva, who was in the US for a month-long medical treatment, will finally arrive in Chennai by Friday night. Earlier this month, few media houses reported that the actor was suffering from serious health problems and will be returning to India only after the release of his upcoming biggie, Kabali.

However, Rajinikanth's elder brother, Sathyanarayana squashed the reports stating that his brother is completely fine and will be back from the US soon.

And now, according to the latest updates, the actor will be back in Chennai on Friday night and is all set to resume the shoot of Shankar's Enthiran 2with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. Reportedly, Shankar will be resuming the shoot to film the talkie portions of the film featuring both superstars and two songs featuring Amy Jackson and the Thalaiva. The next schedule of the film is slated to begin on 18 July 2016.
