Mohanlal's upcoming film Randamoozham just got bigger. The film, an adaptation of writer MT Vasudevan's award winning novel with same title was announced in 2014, but later shelved due to various reasons. However, Lalettan at a talk show on a TV channel announced that Randamoozham will start rolling soon. The film will be directed by ad-filmmaker Sreekumar.
Now it has been confirmed that Amitabh Bachchan will be a part of Randamoozham as Sreekumar confirmed this in a recent interview. He said that Big B will be essaying the role of Bhishma in the film.
Randamoozham also marks the third collaboration of Amitabh Bachchan and Mohanlal after Bollywood film Aag and Malayalam film Kandahar.
Randamoozham will be based on the epic Mahabharatha and Mohanlal will portray the lead role of Bheemasena. The story will be told through the perspective of Bheemasena. Mohanlal also revealed that Randamoozham will be made on a whopping budget of Rs. 600 crore and might be the most expensive Indian film to be made till date.
