Rakul Preet finally revealed why she refused to star in Neeraj Pandey's A Wednesday and M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story

Popular South actress Rakul Preet Singh's second Bollywood outing Aiyaary is slated to release tomorrow. Directed by M.S. Dhoni: The Untold StoryNeeraj Pandey and jointly produced by Shital Bhatia, Dhaval Gada and Motion Picture Capital, the film is tipped to be a patriotic action thriller. Apart from Rakul Preet, Aiyaary features Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee, Pooja Chopra, Adil Hussain, Kumud Mishra, Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher.

In a recent interview, Rakul Preet that she was approached by Neeraj Pandey to star in his previous hits A Wednesday and M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. She also revealed the main reason why refused to star in both the films.

"The first audition I ever gave in my life was for Neeraj Sir's A Wednesday. But I had just begun my career in Telugu back then, so I couldn’t do the film. Later, I auditioned again for M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, but again I had to let go off the film due to date issues. Finally, when I was approached again for Aiyaary, I was thrilled to be part of it. Neeraj Sir is a very talented filmmaker and when you work with someone like him, his talent rubs on to you,” Rakul Preet said.

Rakul Preet will be seen portraying the role of a software engineer and a hacker in Aiyaary.
