Rajinikanth's much-awaited film, Kabali, is just three days away from its theatrical release. And it would be an understatement to say that the response for the advance booking for the Thalaiva film - which was thrown open on 16 July - is positive.

Tickets for Kabali for the first three days in most theatres in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka have already been sold out.

Kabali producer Kalaipuli S Thanu, who also helmed Vijay's Theri, is all smiles. Thanu is confident that the Rajinikanth film will break the Box Office records of Salman Khan's Sultan - which has raised the bar high to become one of India's highest grosser of all time.

Thanu is positive that Kabali will collect Rs 200 crore within its opening weekend. He said:

"Go to Mumbai and try to purchase a ticket of Sultan it would have cost you Rs 1,500. Now you go to Bangalore and say Kabali, you will pay Rs 1,500 per ticket. But let me tell you that in Tamil Nadu with just Rs 120/80 and Rs 50 a ticket we will bring in Rs 200 crores. So imagine what will happen then? We will be collecting ten times more than Sultan".

The Hindi dubbed version of Kabali alone will release on 1,000 screens. Will Kabali stop Sultan's dream run at the Box Office? Only a few days till we find out!
