The much-awaited trailer of the upcoming Malayalam summer release, the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer, Kammattipaadam is out.

The film comes from the kitty of cinematographer-turned-director, Rajeev Ravi, who is best known for his super-hit romantic film, Annayum Rasoolum.

Kammattipaadam features Dulquer as Krishnan, a 40-year-old man who lives in Mumbai. The film also marks the acting debut of model Shaun Romy. The film stars Shine Tom Chacko, Vinayakan, Vinay Forrt, Amalda Liz, P Balachandran, Suraj Venjarammood, Alancier and Manikandan, among others.

Dulquer took to Facebook to unveil the one minute, twenty four seconds video.

Much has been reported about Dulquer's dedication for the film. The actor shed about 15 kg to portray Krishnan as a teenager.

A highlight of the trailer is the catchy music and background score by Krishna Kumar, John P Varkey and Vinayakan. The dialogues, peppered with slang characteristic to Kochi, and the repeated action sequences indicates that Kammattipaadam will be an action-packed entertainer from the National award winning director.

With Kammattipaadam, Dulquer will be looking to maintain his impeccable Box Office record and score a hattrick after the superhits that were his December 2015 release, Charlie and the March 2016 release, Kali.

The action-entertainer, which is slated to hit the screens this Friday, will be eyeing to beat the all-time Malayalam record opener set by Dulquer's Kali.
