Professor Michael Idikkula​ : Mohanlal's character details in Lal Jose film revealed​

Malayalam actor Mohanlal's upcoming film with director Lal Jose is all set to start rolling on Thursday. The film, which marks the first collaboration between Mohanlal-Lal Jose duo is produced by actor's friend and the maker of Drishyam and Oppam, Antony Perumbavoor under his home banner Aashirvad Cinemas. The yet-to-be-titled-film written by veteran scenarist Benny P Nayarambalam will have music by Shaan Rahman.

Initially, there were reports that Lalettan will be portraying the role of a college professor in the film.

The makers had revealed an interesting update on Mohanlal's character in the film.

The Malayalam superstar will be playing a professor named Michael Idikkula, the newly appointed Vice-Principal of a popular college in Kerala.The film depicts the changes Professor Michael Idikkula bring into the college, and how it affect the lives of the teachers and students.

The film also marks the second outing for the stars of Angamaly Diaries, Reshma Rajan and Sarath Kumar. Reshma portrays the role of a young assistant professor in the film.
The film also stars Salim Kumar, Anoop Menon, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Priyanka Nair and Shivaji Guruvayoor. Godha cinematographer Vishnu Sharma has been finalised as the cinematographer of the film.

Mohanlal and Lal Jose were earlier supposed to work together for a movie titled Cousins, but later dropped the plans for reasons not revealed.
