Podaa Podi's Vignesh Shivan to direct Suriya 35

Director Vignesh Shivan of Podaa Podi and Naanum Rowdydhaan fame has confirmed that he will direct Suriya in his next film. Shivan took to his Twitter account to share the news.

The untitled project will be made under Suriya's home banner, 2D Entertainment, and Studio Green.
Previously it was reported Kabali maker PA Ranjith would direct Suriya in his 35th film. Hit music director Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in for the music of the film.
Other details about the film are expected to be released soon.
