Pelli Choopulu sets a new record at US Box Office

Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam's directorial debut, Pelli Choopulu, has successfully completed 50 days at the US Box Office.
The film, starring Vijay Devarakonda and Ritu Varma in the lead, hit the big screen on 29 August. Pelli Choopulu is still running in 10 cinemas in the US - setting a record to be the first Telugu film to do so.
The Raj Kandukuri film has also struck gold back home at the Telugu Box Office and is still running to packed houses across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The film has been praised for its content, Tharun's direction and the performances of Vijay Devarakonda and Ritu Varma.
