It's known that popular filmmaker Karan Johar and noted director Rohit Shetty have teamed up for the Bollywood remake of Telugu blockbuster Temper. The action entertainer starred superstar Jr.NTR as an angry young man Daya and went onto become a landmark film for the actor after a string of many flops. The Bollywood remake titled Simmba stars  Ranveer Singh as the male lead and also marks the acting debut of Sara Ali Khan, daughter of veteran stars Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan.

Earlier, there were reports that popular South actor R Madhavan is portraying the main antagonist role in Simmba.

Unfortunately, it has been now confirmed that R Madhavan is no more a part of Simmba and the reason is indeed heartbreaking for his fans.

The Vikram Vedha actor took to his Twitter page to confirm the news.

“Hey folks .. So I am a huge crazy fan of Rohit Shetty and his films. As is my son. It breaks both our hearts that I’m not able to be a part of this film because of my injury. I’m well on my way to recovery but this is a huge opportunity and excitement lost", R Madhavan tweeted.
