Official: Music from Dhanush's Kodi to be released on 5 October

After the debacle that was Thodari, Tamil superstar Dhanush will be seen next in Kodi, his 31st film. The film will see the national award-winning actor essay a double role for the first time in his career.

Santhosh Narayanan, of Kabali fame, has been roped in to compose the music for Kodi. The music of the film has already created a buzz ahead of its release, owing to the response garnered by the motion poster of the film - which was recently unveiled.

Kodi, produced by Dhanush and directed by Durai Senthilkumar, is touted to be a political thriller. The film also stars Trisha and Anupama Parameshwaran. Kodi is slated to clash with Karthi's Kashmora on the auspicious occasion of Diwali 2016.
