Official: Mrudula Murali to play Captain Dr Lakshmi Sehgal in Tigmanshu Dhulia's Raag Desh- Birth Of A Nation

Actress Mrudula Murali is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Tigmanhsu Dhulia's upcoming film Raag Desh: Birth Of A Nation.
Written and produced by the National-award-winning director himself, the film is a biopic on late Captain Dr Lakshmi Sehgal - the leader of the all-woman Rani of Jhansi regiment of the Indian National Army.
Raag Desh also stars Kunal Kapoor and Mohit Marwah.Mrudula took to her Facebook page to confirm the news on 24 October - Sehgal's 102nd birth anniversary. Mrudula said:
The talented actress was recently in the news thanks to her stellar performances in Malayalam films Ayal Njanalla and the recent release, Shigamani.
Mrudula already has a few Tamil films under her belt. Her brother, Mithun Murali, is also a well known actor in Kerala.
