Odiyan: Mohanlal sheds 18 kg in 51 days, teaser featuring actor's new look goes viral
The official teaser of Mohanlal's Odiyan has been released. The film, tipped to be a magical thriller, will see the directorial debut of ad filmmaker VA Shrikumar Menon. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor, Odiyan stars Manju Warrier in the female lead. Mohanlal will be seen portraying the titular role of Odiyan Manikkan in the film.
As promised by the makers, the one-minute and forty-three-second long teaser features Mohanlal in his new look for Odiyan. The Malayalam superstar has reportedly lost 18 kg in 51 days after being on a strict weight loss regime for his youth role in the film. Going by Lalettan's amazing transformation, the teaser will definitely silence all his critics for sure. Mohanlal's achieved this look with the help of a team of fitness experts comprising masseurs, yoga masters and dermatologists from France. The teaser ends in an impressive note when the 5-time national award winner says "The game is about to begin".

And without any surprise, the teaser has gone viral across the social media including Twitter and Facebook.
The 57-year old actor will be seen sporting multiple looks in Odiyan from the age of 30 to 65. His character is said to be a terrific athlete, who is also mastered in Odividya and can run on four legs and jump higher than normal people.
