After Ghajini, Singam and Singam II, Tamil actor Suriya's recent hit and the third installment of Singam series is set to be remade in Bollywood. Though the Bollywood remakes of the first two parts were directed by Rohit Shetty, this time it's noted cinematographer Ravi. K. Chandran directing the Hindi version of Singam III. Interestingly, the film also marks his directorial debut.

Similar to the change of director, the lead actor of the film has been changed as well as the makers have roped in veteran actor Sunny Deol to replace Ajay Devgn as the main lead of the film. The makers also retained model-turned-actor Thakur Anup Singh to reprise his main antagonist role in the film. The leading heroines of the film are expected to be announced shortly.
