Jacobinte Swargarajyam to release on 8 April. Will Nivin Pauly & Vineeth be fourth time lucky?

In an exclusive interview with Catch News, debutant Malayalam producer Noble Babu Thomas revealed the release date of his film, Jacobinte Swargarajyam. The Vineeth Sreenivasan directed family entertainer will hit screens on 8 April 2016.

"Our film, Jacobinte Swargarajyam is releasing on coming Friday, April 8 2016. It is a clean family entertainer and is inspired by the real story of our friend's family living in UAE. Writer turned actor Renji Panicker is essaying the title role of Jacob. Nivin is playing his eldest son, Jerry's role. This is his fourth collaboration with Vineeth. Their previous films Malarvadi Arts Club, Oru Thattathin Marayathu, Oru Vadakkan Selfie were super hits at the Box Office and I'm hoping that the duo will provide same verdict for my film too" the producer told Catch.

The producer lavished praise on Malayalam comedy star Aju Varghese, who debuted as an assistant director with Jacobinte Swargarajyam.

"Being an assistant director is not everyone's cup of tea. But Aju surprised us all with his word working nature. Be it an early morning shoot or the late night shoot, he was always prepared for both right from the schedule time till the completion of the film. He always had a team of 3 members to help him including my brother, Nijad, Ganesh and Dhananjay."

With the trailer and songs of the film receiving a good response on social networks, Jacobinte Swargarajyam is expected to fare well.

Jacobinte Swargarajyam will mark the debut of a number of fresh faces including Reba John, Aima, Stacen and Ashwin Kumar. Reba John plays Chippy, the love interest of Nivin Pauly in the film and Ashwin will be seen essaying the role of his friend, Murali.

The film also stars Sai Kumar, Sreenath Bhasi, Dinesh Prabhakar and Lakshmy Ramakrishnan in supporting roles. Dinesh Prabhakar is also the casting director of the much-anticipated film.

Shaan Rahman, who composed music for previous Nivin-Vineeth films, has provided the music for this film as well. Vivek Ranjit has compiled the English subtitles for the film.
