Naam Shabana : First look of Akshay Kumar, Prithviraj, Taapsee film is out
The first look poster of upcoming Bollywood film, Naam Shabana is out. Jointly produced by Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia, the film is touted to be a prequel of the 2015 Neeraj Pandey thriller Baby. Directed by Shivam Nair, the film stars Taapsee, Manoj Bajpai, Anupam Kher and Malayalam actor Prithviraj in lead roles. Naam Shabana also stars Akshay Kumar in an extended cameo as lead of the RAW operation, Ajay Singh Rajput.
Akshay Kumar took to his Facebook page to reveal the poster.
He was quoted as saying;
"Shabana reminds me of a famous quote, "The only time a woman is helpless is when her nail polish is drying!" Sharing the #NaamShabanaPoster, more soon".
Naam Shabana is based on the character of Shabana Kaif, played by Taapse Pannu, focusing on her journey to becoming a RAW agent in Akshay Kumar's team.
Meanwhile, Naam Shabana also marks the third Bollywood outing of Prithviraj after Yash Raj Films' Aiyya and Aurangzeb. The action-thriller is slated to be released on 31 March 2017.
