Massive opening for Ram Charan's Rangasthalam, mints Rs. 44 crore worldwide
Telugu superstar Ram Charan's new film Rangasthalam released on Friday. Directed by Sukumar and bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the film stars Ram Charan in the titular role of a partially deaf person Chitti Babu. Rangasthalam stars Samantha in the main female lead.
On its opening day Rangasthalam has minted a massive Rs. 44 crore at the Box Office worldwide. Be it the Telugu speaking states or overseas, the Ram Charan starrer has recorded excellent collections throughout the opening day. Rangasthalam has grossed a terrific Rs. 28.5 crore at the Telugu Box Office while at the rest of India markets and overseas, it had grossed nearly Rs. 15.5 crore. The film also emerged as the biggest opener in Ram Charan's careeer and all-time sixth Telugu opener worldwide.
Rangasthalam also featured Prakash Ran, Aadhi Pinisetty, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Jagapati Babu and Rohini.
