Malayalam superstar Mohanlal to be honoured with a doctorate once again

Seems like legendary Malayalam actor is on a news breaking spree.

After bagging Doctorate recognition from Sree Sankaracharya University Of Sanskrit in 2010, Lalettan is all set to be honoured with yet another Doctorate recognition soon.

Mohanlal, who's also India's top actor with maximum national film awards, will be honored with Doctorate recognition from University Of Calicut, Kerala. The University of Calicut has decided to honour Mohanlal in recognition of his services and achievements in the field of acting. The Padma Shri awardee and 5-time National Award winner is also the India's first actor to be honoured with Honorary Lieutenant Colonel recognition from Indian Territorial Army.

Apart from Mohanlal, Indian athlete PT Usha and Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah too will be honored with doctorate recognition.

All the winners will be honoured at an event which is scheduled to be held on September 26 at 11 pm on the university campus in Malappuram.
