Kunchacko Boban-starrer Kochavva Paulo Ayyappa Coelho hit the big screen this week. The film, written and directed by national award-winning-director Sidharth Siva, is the first offering in 30 years from Udaya Pictures - India's first film production company.

Acclaimed novelist Paulo Coelho shared the first look poster of the film on his Twitter page. The film is based on a man who is inspired by the author.

Kochavva Paulo Ayyappa Coelho was an acid for Kunchacko Boban. Ten of his previous 12 releases have flopped at the Kerala Box Office.

KPAC has embarked on a good start at the Box Office. The film opened on 88 screens, most of which reported a housefull opening.

The film has been praised for Sidharth Siva's direction and the performances of lead stars, Kunchacko and Anusree.

The other Onam release, Dileep-starrer Welcome To Central Jail has opened to mixed reports from the critics. The film marks the return of Dileep with one of his favoruite director, Sunder Das after a gap of 14 years. The film has been criticised for being low on both story and comedy.

Meanwhile, last Thursday releases, Mohanlal's Oppam, Vikram's Iru Mugan and Prithviraj-starrer Oozham continued to do well at Kerala Box Office.
