Looks like Tamil superstar Thala Ajith need to wait more to deliver a blockbuster at the Kerala Box Office. The actor's recent release Vivegam, which had released on August 24 to a good opening day dropped considerably from the second day onwards. The film, distributed by Tomichan Mulakuppadam, the maker of all-time Malayalam blockbuster Pulimurugan under his banner Mulakuppadam Release set records on its opening day to become the biggest ever release in Kerala.

However, despite being promoted as biggest Kerala release, the Thala Ajith starrer failed miserably to make any impact at the Kerala Box Office.

After minting Rs. 2.87 crore on its opening day, Vivegam sank without any trace across the cinemas of Kerala. At the end of its two-theatrical weeks, the total collections of the Siva directorial has not even crossed the Rs. 6 crore mark, which is shocking for a superstar film. The film also emerged as the second biggest non-Malayalam disaster after Shah Rukh Khan's Jab Harry Met Sejal.

Vivegam also stars Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan.
