Kerala Box Office : Thala Ajith's Vivegam beats Singam 3, Bairavaa, Raees; it emerges as top non-Malayalam opener of 2017
As expected, it happened. Tamil superstar Thala Ajith's Vivegam has ended it day one, a record breaking note at the Kerala Box Office. The film, an out and out action thriller, has been directed by Siva and distributed by Tomichan Mulakuppadam, the maker of all-time Malayalam blockbuster Pulimurugan under his banner Mulakuppadam Release.
On it's opening day, Vivegam has minted a record breaking Rs. 2.87 crore to become the top non-Malayalam opener at the Kerala Box Office. The Thala Ajith film has shattered the Box Office records set by Vijay's Bairavaa, Shah Rukh Khan's Raees and Suriya's Singam 3.
Tomichan Mulakuppadam took to his Facebook page to officially announce the Box Office figures.
" #Vivegam gets a massive opening and collects ₹28,789,770 as gross on the first day in Kerala. Thanks to all for your support ".
Vivegam also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Vivek Oberoi and Akshara Haasan.
