Kerala Box Office: Massive release for Shah Rukh Khan's Jab Harry Met Sejal

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's Jab Harry Met Sejal released on Friday. Directed by Jab We Met and Highway maker Imtiaz Ali, the romantic drama has been produced by Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan. Jab Harry Met Sejal stars Anushka Sharma in the female lead and also marks her third collaboration with the Bollywood superstar after Rab Ne Banadi Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

And the good news for the SRK fans is that Jab Harry Met Sejal has got a massive release at the Kerala Box Office. The film has been released in more than 100 plus screens across the cinemas of Kerala which is huge considering a non-Malayalam film. Also, most of the recent Malayalam films struggled to get 100 screens on its opening day at the Kerala Box Office. There is no denying that the stardom of Shah Rukh Khan has worked wonders for the film to get good release in Kerala.

It will be interesting to see how Jab Harry Met Sejal will work in Kerala as the previous Bollywood superstar releases, Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil, Akshay Kumar's Jolly LLB 2 and Salman Khan's Tubelight under-performed at the Kerala Box Office.
