Kerala Box Office : Ezra had a good opening weekend, emerges fourth highest opener

Last Friday saw the release of Malayalam actor Prithviraj's Ezra at the Kerala Box Office. Written-directed by Jay K and jointly produced by A.V. Anoop, Mukesh R Mehta and C.V. Sarathy, the horror thriller marks the Malayalam debut of Tamil actress Priya Anand.
The film, which had minted Rs. 2.61 crore on its opening day was unaffected by the release of two non-Malayalam releases of last week, Suriya starrer Singam 3 and Akshay Kumar's Jolly LLB 2.
By the end of its opening weekend, Ezra has minted Rs. 8.55 crore at the Kerala Box Office. Ezra also emerged as the fourth highest Malayalam opener at the Kerala Box Office after Pulimurugan, Kabali and Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol.As per early Monday reports, Ezra is rock steady at most of the multiplexes across Kerala, which means the film is set to have a good first week at the Kerala Box Office.
