Keerthy Suresh to make her Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgn in Amit Sharma's Syed Abdul Rahim biopic

There were the rumours that after making a lot of buzz in the South film industry, the star Keerthy Suresh is planning to make her Bollywood debut also. The actress is being considered to play the leading role in Badhaai Ho fame director Amit Sharma's next film. It was reported earlier that Amit Sharma who directed Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Badhaai Ho is now planning to make a film on Indian Football team from 1953 to 1963.

 

He will make a biopic on Indian coach Syed Abdul Rahim, and the Ajay Devgn will be playing leading role in the film. The trade analyst Taran Adarsh has confirmed the news by tweeting that it will mark Keerthy Suresh's debut in Bollywood.

 

While talking about the film, Keerthy Suresh said, “Syed Abdul Rahim’s story is a forgotten chapter in Indian history and I am glad that the makers are telling it through a film.” She also shared that she is currently only signing those films that gives her challenging roles.

 

The film will be produced by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla, and Arunava Joy Sengupta and screenplay has written by Saiwyn Quadras. Producer Boney Kapoor also confirmed the news by saying, “Its also a conservative love story which focuses on the couple’s life after marriage. Keerthy is one of the most successful actresses in Tamil, Telegu and Malayalam cinema. Her presence would give us an enhanced reach in the Southern belt.”
