Keerthy Suresh's acting brought legendary actress Savitri garu back to life, I'm a fan of Dulquer now, says SS Rajamouli after watching Mahanati

Wednesday saw the release of much awaited Telugu film Mahanati. Directed by Nag Ashwin and jointly produced by Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt, the film is a biopic on late legendary actress Savitri. Mahanati stars Keerthy Suresh in the titular role of Savitri while the film also boasts of an ensemble cast including Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan, Samantha Akkineni and Arjun Reddy actor Vijay Deverakonda.

As expected, Mahanati has opened to positive reviews from the audience and critics alike. The film has been praised for the performances of the whole cast including Keerthy Suresh and Dulquer Salmaan.

Interestingly, Mahanati has caught the attention of SS Rajamouli as well. The Baahubali director lauded the film for Nag Ashwin's direction and the performances of Keerthy Suresh and Dulquer Salmaan as well.
