Karnataka Box Office : Puneeth Rajkumar's Raajakumara unseats Baahubali to emerge all-time highest opener

Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar's Raajakumara has completed one-week of it's theatrical release at the Karnataka box office. Written-directed by Santhosh Ananddram of Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari fame and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, the film marks the Kannada debut of Tamil actress Priya Anand. The other stars in Raajakumara includes Ananth Nag, Sharath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Chikkanna, Avinash, Chitra Shenoy and Malayalam actress Jennifer Antony.

Raajakumara has ended its one week run on a record note. It has reportedly collected more than Rs. 40 crore on its opening week. If that is true, it can be called the film with the highest opening week collections in Karnataka and that would break SS Rajamouli's Baahubali record at the Karnataka Box Office.

Raajakumara director Santhosh Ananddram took to his Facebook page to share the update.

Raajakumara released in 310 theaters with 280 multiplexes shows across Karnataka.
