Kaala Karikaalan : Rajinikanth film starts rolling in Mumbai, Nana Patekar joins the cast

The legendary Tamil actor Rajinikanth's upcoming film Kaala Karikaalan started rolling in Mumbai. Directed by the Kabali maker PA Ranjith and produced by Rajinikanth's son-in-law and actor, Dhanush, the film is said to be set in Mumbai. It is said that Rajinikanth will be portraying the role of a man from Tamil Nadu, who's escaped to Mumbai when he was a child and has grown up to become a don in the Dharavi area.

Interestingly, Kaala Karikaalan will see Bollywood veteran actor Nana Patekar along with the Thalaivar.

Kaala Karikaalan is the first collaboration between Rajinikanth and Dhanush. The music of the film has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan of Kabali fame.
