Jackie Chan, Rajinikanth may work together in a Malaysian film. Will Sonam Kapoor sign on?

Hold your breath! Two of Asia's biggest superstars, Jackie Chan and Rajinikanth, may share screen space soon.

According to reports in Malaysian media, the two are all set to feature in a Malaysian production titled Chini Saga.

Malaysian film producer Mohd Rafeezi Mohd Zin is believed to be bankrolling the mega-budget film. The producer, who has reportedly approached both the superstars, confirmed that he has also spoken to Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor about playing the female lead in his film.

Zin revealed that Chini Saga revolves around the legend of a dragon from Chini Lake, Pahang, Malaysia. He also said that apart from the three actors, the film will also feature a number of popular Malaysian actors.

According to updates, Chini Saga will be shot at Norway, India, China, Indonesia and Thailand. The makers also plan to simultaneously release the film in English.

Jackie Chan and Rajnikanth are Asia's most paid actors. Both charge over Rs 75 crore per film. However, an official confirmation from the representatives of Jackie Chan and Rajinikanth is awaited.
